Elaker MP3 Cutter Joiner is a comprehensive software tool that combines audio cutting and joining with conversion capabilities. This application supports batch processing, so that you can cut or convert multiple source files at once. In addition, it supports six of the most popular audio formats for both the input and the output files – MP3, WAV, WMA, M4A, AAC, and Ogg.
With a compact and modest user interface, the program is – generally speaking – intuitive and easy to use. However, the visual design of its interface is not really attractive, and needs to be enhanced. You can add all the source files you want to work with at once, and they will be listed in a special panel. You will see the size, duration, and the status of each file in that panel. You can then select any of those files and play it back using the built-in media player included with the program.
The media player allows you to define different start and end points for the active file, which is required for the cutting function of the program to produce some result. Unluckily, you will need to do this manually for each source file in your list. Besides, you can only define those points while the file is being played. If you want to use the program as an audio converter, you can leave the start and end points of your source files untouched, and simply set the output format and its parameters.
